Reviews
This was not worth the money. It is a very short adaptation from the screenplay "Degas." It is basically just reading a script from a play. It makes it a very cumbersome read because of this. I was expecting a novel and I got a script. Very disappointing, especially because this is not a cheap book. It does demonstrate the relationship between Degas and Cassat but it is quite juvenile. It may be better for a junior high classroom but is not sophisticated enough for adults looking to expand their knowledge about eithe one of these artists.
